וַיַּעֲזֹ֕ב אֶת־יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י אֲבֹתָ֑יו וְלֹ֥א הָלַ֖ךְ בְּדֶ֥רֶךְ יְהוָֽה׃
Assim deixou o SENHOR, Deus de seus pais, e não andou no caminho do SENHOR.
Ralbag on II Kings
And he forsook the Lord, the God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord: This means that he had already altogether separated from the way of the Lord.
